Hey Folks

Iv been thinking about this for a while.....no it wasnt painful before anyone asks

But with this 'sunny warm' weather, members being unable to paddle (Mummy Gills ) and lots of wifes/husbands/girlfriends/boyfriends/dogs/cats and kids, i was thinking maybe we could organise an afternoon or evening 10 pin bowling???

Just to keep everyone in touch, warm and dry for a change and to get all your families invloved so ya's dont get in trouble so much for coming out to play

Let me know what ya's think and if enough people are interested il get the ball rolling

Oh and my other thought was maybe going to Tollymore indoor climbing wall some evening for the craic? But im thinkin we wait until i start work and get a cheap rate lol

Im waiting for Dundonald IceBowl to get back to me with prices.....i also asked about doing a package deal on bowling and indiana land for us sorry couldnt resist....we'r all big kids anyway

Odyssey Bowl, at the weekends have no discounts for groups (Miserable gits!) So its £25 per lane per hour. Max of 6 players per lane. We could maybe get a deduction once we know how many kids (genuine kids )are coming but cant confirm that.

Tollymore haven't answered my calls all day.... but im gona head down there some time this week to see what the score is regarding my job etc so il ask about prices for the climbing wall while im there im with Shug i reckon we should do both .....not on the same day obviously.

Anyone got a particular time/day in mind for the bowling? Im thinking the weekend of 22nd-24th jan or 29th-31st jan??? No point leaving it too long.....browny points needed asap eh Derek?

Either of those times, or both would be good for us. Count us in. Me, Pam (no ages given) Beth (9) and wee Jamie (5). Jamie's a bit mad when he gets going. Will probably want to slide down the bowling ally himself and jump of the top of the climbing wall. Must get it from Pam.

I can just imagine Jamie being a mini version of Derek.....is it safe to let them loose in Indiana land Brian we may need risk assessments
